First Lettering Challenge

I travelled to my hometown for my birthday. Guadalajara, being the second largest city in Mexico, has a great selection of art stores so I made one of my biggest discovery: right there, in the small art supply store that had been in the same tiny mall ever since I was a child I found a very decent selection of disposable brush and calligraphy pens. Oh I went wild with Joy! Now, with a new small collection of Pentel Touch pens I felt like I could take over the world!

On my birthday, while waiting in line at the bank, I was watching countless brush lettering videos in Instagram. I found it perfectly soothing for the long hour plus wait. And that is how I found the marvellous Mhelanie Hernandez and her multiple lettering challenges! Oh the joy! Of course I’m not the most consistent person so I skipped a bunch of prompts. A lot of changes and things were going in my life at that time so setting some minutes aside wasn’t that easy. ​
